1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChessHunter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ChessHunter is a chess player analysis platform that aggregates publicly available data from Chess.com, Lichess, and FIDE to provide comparative hunting analysis. The Service helps players understand how their strengths match up against their opponents' weaknesses.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

• Free Tier: Limited to showcase analyses only. No payment required.
• Hunter ($9.99/month): 25 hunting analyses per month.
• Predator ($19.99/month): 100 hunting analyses per month.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months of service. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your paid period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or stalk other chess players.
• Attempt to circumvent usage quotas, rate limits, or subscription restrictions.
• Scrape, crawl, or automated mass-access the Service without permission.
• Impersonate other users or chess players.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these terms.

6. Data Sources & Accuracy

ChessHunter aggregates publicly available data from third-party chess platforms (Chess.com, Lichess, FIDE). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Analysis results are provided for informational and entertainment purposes and should not be considered professional advice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, analysis algorithms, and original content, is owned by ChessHunter. Analysis reports generated for your account are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit analysis reports without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ChessHunter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
